Who We Are

Reliable Experts in Business Setup Advisory, Tax & Compliance

Al Salmya is a Dubai consultancy built on years of hands-on experience across UAE corporate services, banking and finance. Our consultants have guided founders through company formation, trade licensing, corporate bank accounts and the UAE's new tax era — Corporate Tax, VAT and the e-invoicing rollout.

We take time to understand what each client is actually building, then design the structure around your market, your visas and your tax position — not around whichever licence is easiest to sell. We believe in long-term relationships built on trust: most of our clients stay with us long after the licence is issued, because the compliance work is where we prove our value every month.

We assess your needs and objectives so the chosen structure aligns with your business goals, then handle trade-name reservation, initial approvals, documentation and licence issuance end to end.
Dubai mainland (DET) for unrestricted local trade; 40+ free zones — including IFZA, Meydan, RAKEZ, SHAMS and DMCC — for 100% ownership and fast, cost-effective licensing; RAK ICC / JAFZA Offshore for holding and international structures. We compare real costs across zones before you commit.
Free-zone licences start from roughly AED 5,500–6,000 per year for no-visa packages, while mainland setups cost more once the mandatory office lease is included. Our Journey of Growth

From UAE Banking & Finance Specialists to Your Complete Business Setup Partner

Al Salmya grew out of years of work in Dubai's corporate services, banking and finance world — arranging facilities, opening corporate accounts and guiding businesses through the paperwork most founders dread. That background taught us the part of company formation nobody advertises: the licence is easy; the bank account and the compliance are where businesses get stuck.

So we built the firm around exactly that. Today Al Salmya offers end-to-end solutions — company formation, corporate banking support, Corporate Tax, VAT, accounting and visa services — empowering entrepreneurs to thrive in the UAE's dynamic market with one team that already knows their file.

With every client we empower and every challenge turned into an opportunity, our journey becomes more meaningful as we help shape the future of business success in the UAE.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers, before you ask.

Dubai offers world-class infrastructure, a strategic location connecting major markets, tax-friendly policies, political stability and a diverse, innovative economy. Ease of setup, banking access and excellent growth opportunities make it one of the most attractive destinations for entrepreneurs and investors globally.
Three main routes: mainland (DET licence, unrestricted local trade), free zone (100% ownership, from roughly AED 5,500–6,000/year for no-visa packages) and offshore (RAK ICC / JAFZA, for holding and international structures). Total cost depends on activity, visas and office needs — we provide an itemised quote up front with government fees shown separately.
Free-zone companies can be licensed within days once documents are complete; a realistic end-to-end timeline including visa and bank account is 2–4 weeks. Core documents: passport copies, photographs, proposed trade names and a description of your business activity. We prepare the MOA and application forms for you.
Yes. All free zones offer 100% foreign ownership, and since the 2020 reforms most mainland activities do too — no local sponsor required. A few strategic sectors still carry restrictions, which we flag for your specific activity before you commit.
Commercial (trading), professional (services), industrial (manufacturing) and specialised categories such as e-commerce and general trading. The licence follows from your business activity — which is why we define the activity precisely first.
UAE Corporate Tax is 0% on taxable income up to AED 375,000 and 9% above. Small businesses with revenue up to AED 3 million can elect Small Business Relief and pay zero — but only for tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2026. Free-zone companies can keep 0% on qualifying income under strict conditions. Registration is mandatory in most cases even when the tax due is zero.
Mandatory once taxable supplies exceed AED 375,000 over the previous 12 months (or expected within the next 30 days); voluntary from AED 187,500 — often worth doing early to reclaim input VAT. Non-resident businesses making taxable supplies in the UAE must register regardless of turnover.
The UAE is rolling out mandatory structured e-invoicing for B2B and B2G transactions. The pilot began in July 2026; large businesses go mandatory from 1 January 2027, and all other VAT-registered businesses by 1 July 2027. If you invoice other businesses, it affects you — and preparing early is far cheaper than scrambling at the deadline.
Because the UAE now runs on records: Corporate Tax returns, VAT filings and (soon) e-invoicing all depend on clean books. Outsourcing gives you FTA-ready accounts at a fraction of the cost of in-house staff — and your tax position stays clear all year, not just at filing time.
Three things: a banking-and-finance background that gets corporate accounts opened where others get stuck; compliance-first advice, so your structure works for Corporate Tax and VAT from day one; and one team for everything — setup, banking, tax, accounting and visas — so nothing falls between two vendors.
